Gerard (Jerry) Ransing

Fresh out of college 30 years ago, with his Economics degree in hand from the University of Delaware (89), Jerry began his career in the financial services industry. Jerry’s specialty is assisting individuals and families achieve their financial goals through wealth management and diversification. Jerry helps his clients grow their assets, relieve tax burdens, and create financial well-being. This is accomplished through client specific strategies, such as retirement planning and wealth protection and risk management. In addition to working with his clients, Jerry serves as the firm’s Investment Specialist and Advisor Association (AAX) Representative. He is also a Certified Financial Planner CFP® professional.

Jerry, along with his business partners Robert and Jim, founded Rock Creek Financial in 2018. This partnership focuses on providing their clients with a more holistic financial approach to life. Their combined experience and resources are utilized to help lead each client toward a more secure financial future.

Jerry resides in Gaithersburg MD, love spending time with his children Nick and Lauren, and rooting on Virginia Tech sports teams…Go Hokies!!
